Today we would like to honor the victims of the tragic Connecticut shooting. Our hearts go out to the families who are experiencing such immense loss at this time. We hope they can find some peace this Christmas season knowing their precious children are now in the arms of the Savior.

Anne Marie Oborn's painting Children of Light helps us to reflect on the light and love that children carry.
Anne Marie Oborn wrote this about her painting,
Children frequently reflect the light of Christ and their belief in God. They are often a visual testimony of Him. "Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light" (John 12:35–36).
Let us learn from the Savior and remember how wonderful young children are and never miss an opportunity to cherish our time with them.
